The latest version of a story I’ve been following for a while…

I’ve written several stories now about Prof Paul Bates’ research at the University of Bristol – NERC impact case studies, a REF case study, articles for the Cabot Institute Magazine, and now one for the University of Bristol. The article, which discusses the start-up company SSBN Ltd that has evolved out of Bristol’s Hydrology Group, can be found on the University of Bristol’s featured stories. The business is using satellite data to help governments, the insurance industry and others assess risk in regions where there is very little information on flooding.
